Atmospheric, Filming architecture
Halfway between an exhibition and a festival, Atmospheric explores the many ways in which video can contribute to the transmission of architecture and space.
Over the last decade, video has established itself as the documentation and experimental tool best suited to conveying the meaning and context of an architecture, a place or a space. A new generation of artists has emerged in a wide variety of locations, exploiting the possibilities offered by digital technology and the circulation of images online. Throughout the summer of 2023, arc en rêve's main gallery will be transformed into a screening room, offering a glimpse into this landscape of filmmakers and directors. Structured into 4 sessions of one month each, Atmospheric, filming architecture presents the work of 40 authors – exploring the many ways in which video can contribute to the transmission of architecture.
