By supporting arc en rêve, you're helping to make Bordeaux an internationally renowned architectural center.

Since its foundation, arc en rêve has functioned as a laboratory for identifying and promoting emerging practices in architecture and urban planning. It was at arc en rêve, in the 1990s, that Zaha Hadid, Tadao Ando and Frank Gehry were first introduced to the European public. It was also at arc en rêve that two recent winners of the Pritzker Architecture Prize, Lacaton & Vassal and Francis Kéré, made their work known. Convinced of the need to enrich debate and consolidate architectural thinking, arc en rêve continues its role as a scouting ground for the most innovative expressions of architectural thought, combining more established profiles with those of emerging architects.

In a world in upheaval, experiencing crises of all kinds, art, culture and architecture are an expression of our society. They embody its vision of the world and the place it accords to its inhabitants and the different ways of living together.

As representatives of companies and foundations, you and your teams are committed to a changing world, and so you have a vital stake in the vitality of culture. Patronage is one of the elements in the language of your establishments, and is proof of the commitment of your economic structures to society.

We want to create an active circle of private partners, whether companies or foundations, with whom we can forge links that go beyond purely financial issues, in order to identify common interests and work towards shared goals.

This is a societal and humanistic challenge of the highest order, enabling us to open our eyes to a changing world, to discover and co-invent our cities, our living spaces and the architectures of the future. Supporting and collaborating with arc en rêve means being involved in innovation, creation and experimentation.

It means imagining new ways of thinking about our living environment, and radiating out together.
