On May 7th, arc en rêve will welcome third-year undergraduate students from Ensap Bordeaux to the Galerie Blanche for the installation of their work, produced as part of the Flashback course.
The exhibition will run from 9 to 23 May, the day of the European Night of Museums.
In 1946, Jacques Prévert published the poem ‘Inventaire’. This diversity and fragmented perspective on reality is one of the project’s starting points.
In the Flashback course at Ensap Bordeaux, third-year students take stock of their educational, formal, aesthetic and personal worlds throughout their bachelor’s degree.
Drawing on reality, the imagination and their personal experiences, the students offer a sensitive and critical interpretation of their past journey and their future prospects. The works presented—visual, sculptural, textual, multi- and trans-media—constitute a synthesis of accumulated experiences and theoretical and practical discoveries in architecture, but also a projection, sometimes fictional, of their professional and societal future.
Shaped by each individual’s values, sensibilities and imagination, this collective experience offers an opportunity to present a unique interpretation of a study programme at the halfway point.
