As part of the exhibition Nouvelles saisons, Self-Portraits of a territory, arc en rêve presents the work of the Micromegaslab workshop at the La Cambre Horta Faculty of Architecture at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, led by Eve Deprez and Alain Simon.

Around sixty students explored the Bordeaux region on a macro scale, focusing on creating sensitive maps based on various themes developed in the workshop. At the same time, they worked on architectural details, all taken from buildings constructed in Bordeaux. The Micromegaslab workshop adopts a critical stance, questioning the city through an experimental and contextual approach.

The aim is to understand the underlying dynamics that shape Bordeaux: how does infrastructure influence usage? How do changes in the built environment alter social practices? What are the spaces that are waiting, empty, offering new opportunities for intervention?
